My Go-To Salad Dressing
At our house, we eat salad pretty often. Well, actually, we eat this one specific kind of salad every week and still don’t seem to get bored of it. It’s this super simple Greek salad recipe that I adapt based on what we have in the fridge that day. Check out the salad recipe here.
BUT as we all know, the salad is only as good as the dressing. Without it, there isn’t much difference if you are eating spinach, arugula or simply some leaves off of a bush… right? So here’s how I like to do it.
This yields enough dressing for a 2-person salad.
Ingredients
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp red wine vinegar
- squeeze (roughly 1 tsp) agave syrup
- 1 big tsp dijon mustard
- ½ tsp dried basil
- ½ tsp dried oregano
- big pinch of salt & pepper
Instructions
Take a small glass jar and put all the ingredients in. Screw the lid on top and shake the jar until the dressing is homogenous. Pour over the salad, mix and thank me later! 🙂
